PICKS OF THE MONTH
Team Building Saves the World

A cohesive work team is like a family because members support each other, share common goals, and work together through challenges. Just as in a family, trust, communication, and mutual respect are essential to maintaining harmony and achieving success. In support of this month’s Guiding Principle “We Are Family,” DHU presents a podcast that offers insights and actionable strategies for fostering a company culture of collaboration, staying engaged, productive, and connected, no matter where we are. The Team Building Saves the World podcast, hosted by Rich Rininsland, emphasizes practical strategies for building high-performing teams through innovative approaches such as storytelling, peer recognition, and leadership development, offering listeners actionable insights to improve both personal and team effectiveness.
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway: Dynamic Techniques for Turning Fear, Indecision, and Anger into Power, Action, and Love

It’s the month of Halloween DH family! That magical time of year when fear is fun, we get to dress like monsters, and pretend the skeletons in our closet are just part of the decor! But we know fear isn’t always fun. Whether it's trying to build rapport with decision makers, realizing you've left your phone at home, or trying to parallel park with an audience, we’ve all felt the unpleasant, sometimes crippling effects of fear. To kick off this month of Halloween, DHU presents, Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway: Dynamic Techniques for Turning Fear, Indecision, and Anger into Power, Action, and Love, by Susan Jeffers. This resource isn't about trying to ignore our fears or pretending we don't have them, it's about grabbing fear by the collar, shaking it up, and turning those moments of indecision, anxiety, and white-knuckle terror into the fuel for action and, ultimately, a life that feels a lot more fun.
